Ms. Carolyn C. Lee, age 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2026. She was born on January 7, 1952 in New Bern, North Carolina to the late Leslie B. Coward and Blanche Carolyn Banks.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by compassion, patience, and a heart that always put others before herself. She delighted in the simple joys of life — diamond paintings, old school country music, hummingbirds, and sitting on the porch admiring God's creations and the peaceful outdoors. Her favorite hymn, "The Old Rugged Cross," often echoed her steadfast faith and gentle spirit.

She was a spirited fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Florida Gators, and she shared many cherished moments cheering them on. Carolyn also enjoyed Elvis Presley and Alan Jackson, whose melodies filled many of her happiest days. Most importantly, she cherished her family deeply and always spoke her mind with honesty, warmth, and humor.

She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. She leaves to honor her memory two daughters, Sandy Griffin and Jennifer Lee; one son, Chris Lee; two grandsons, Philip Griffin and Josh Lee; two granddaughters, Shayla Griffin and Alyssa Hopson; one great-great grandson, Nolan Griffin-Miller; five siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her life and legacy.

Carolyn's presence was a gift, and the love she gave will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she touched. While her earthly journey has ended, her spirit remains a gentle reminder of patience, kindness, and the beauty found in God's everyday handiwork. May she rest in eternal peace.
