With hearts filled with sorrow yet grateful for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of Misty Michelle Begemann, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 10, 2026.

Born on April 15, 1965, in Lexington, Missouri, Misty was the beloved daughter of Martin and Bessie Begemann. She was a proud graduate of Higginsville High School, Class of 1983, where she proudly served as the school's mascot, bringing school spirit, enthusiasm, and joy to those around her. She later continued her education at Flagler College before earning her Master's Degree in Communication from Full Sail University, reflecting her lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.

Misty embraced life with an adventurous heart and a joyful spirit. She loved preparing meals for those she cared about, traveling throughout the United States—especially to her beloved Key West—and never missed an opportunity to listen to her favorite artist, Prince, particularly his iconic song, Purple Rain. An avid photographer, she believed every moment was worth preserving and often reminded others, "Making memories are magic."

Those who knew Misty will forever remember her as a bright light in every room. She was wonderfully unique, deeply compassionate, selfless, and loved others without condition. More importantly, she loved the Lord with all her heart and lived out her faith through kindness, generosity, and genuine compassion. Her cheerful farewell, "Have a groovy day,"became her signature reminder to find joy in every day.

Though her earthly journey has ended, Misty's love, laughter, and unwavering faith leave behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Her life was a beautiful reminder that the greatest memories are made through love, faith, and the people we hold dear.
